Learn more about me and my story

I was born in London and raised in Hong Kong until I was 9 years old to an Anglo-Scottish father, and a Filipino mother. I then moved with my family to Chelsea in London where I lived and was lucky enough to spend my holidays in Loch Tay, Scotland where I would spend my holidays with my sister Sarah, and my black Labrador Lucky.  

Thanks to my diverse upbringing, people and languages  fascinated me. I specialised in languages at school notably French and Spanish, then going on to specialise in Chinese & History of Art at SOAS University.

Since graduating, I worked at a technology management consulting startup, a global asset manager as well as an actress on a BBC1 TV series. I landed into property right before lockdown. My father was the one was actually said to me ‘why don’t you go become an agent?’  

So I did. One thing led to another, and ‘Ari Reid Property’ was born. A blend of my zest for life, passion for property and love for being in front of the camera created this unique channel.  

I realise I am just at the beginning of this fantastic journey. But it’s important I mention how grateful I am to have your support, appreciation and encouragement to get me where I am today. I have learned to persevere and never give up no matter how much life has to throw at you. Always be kind, always believe and always love yourself and others with as much spirit as you have.  

I look forward to next chapter in my adventure book and I can’t wait to take you with me.
